The Prieston Group's management team is highly trained and has extensive experience in the mortgage banking industry. Here are a few members of TPG's top management team.

Arthur J. Prieston

Arthur Prieston is the president and CEO of PBIS Insurance Services, Inc. and is the creative force behind the Lenders' Representation and Warranty Insurance.

Mr. Prieston is chairman of the American Mortgage Law Group. In his present capacity, and previously as chairman of the mortgage banking group of the law firm of Lanahan & Reilley, and as principal and founder of The Prieston Law Firm, Mr. Prieston has specialized in mortgage fraud resolution and litigation, portfolio transfer disputes, servicing claims and disputes, and arbitration. His clients include major banks, thrift institutions, mortgage companies, secondary market investors, securities issuers and other financial service companies.

Mr. Prieston is presently co-founder and co-chair of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America (MBA) Legal Issues Sub-committee on Fraud, CMBA co-founder Legal Services Sub-committee on Fraud. Other industry affiliations include the following:

Mr. Prieston has lectured and provided training sessions for banks and savings and loans. Featured Speaker: National Convention American Land Title Association NCMBA, NAMB, CMBA, CAMB, Panelist FHLMC, FNMA, National Conference on Fraud, NJMBA Conference on Fraud, and MBA Quality Assurance Conference. Mr. Prieston has authored or co-authored over twenty articles and papers ,dealing with the various aspects of mortgage fraud, including the California Mortgage Banker Association Policies and Procedures for Fraud Resolution, the California Standard Mortgage Broker Agreement, "Battling Fraud with Tougher Documents," "The Fraud Epidemic," "Breaking through the Recovery Barrier," and "Of Jurors, Mortgage Bankers and Fraud Cases," all published in Mortgage Banking Magazine and California Mortgage Finance . He is the co-drafter of the MBA White Paper on Fraud Prosecution and has been selected by the MBA to author its first full-scope book on mortgage fraud to be published in June 2001.

Mr. Prieston received a B.A. in 1977 from the Long Island University and a J.D. in 1981 from San Francisco School of Law.

 

Justin Vedder

Justin Vedder serves as Managing Director of The Prieston Group subsidiary PBIS Insurance Services Inc.

Vedder, who has extensive, first-hand knowledge of the mortgage industry, first began in PBIS’ sales department. In 2004, he took over responsibility of sales and marketing, serving as Managing Director of Client Relations for PBIS. In April 2005, he was named to his current position of Managing Director. In this role, Vedder is responsible for executive oversight of all areas of PBIS, including customer relations, claims administration and policy administration.

Vedder has spoken on numerous industry panels on the topic of mortgage fraud.

Before joining TPG, Vedder was a co-founder and principal of Platinum Data Solutions, a technology-based company offering automated property valuation systems and risk mitigation tools.

Vedder holds a degree from the University of California at Berkeley.

 

Vincent N. Amato

Mr. Amato has over 23 years experience in the banking law, including service with Norstar Bank of Commerce, Chase Manhattan Corp. and Superior Bank FSB. Mr. Amato is chairman of the New York State Bar Association Committee on Consumer Financial Services and a member of the Executive Committee of the Business Law Section. Mr. Amato is a graduate of the Fordham University School of Law and has a LL.M. in taxation from New York University School of Law. Mr. Amato earned his undergraduate degree from New York University .

 

Regina M. Lowrie

Ms. Lowrie, who has more than 29 years of mortgage banking experience, was most recently President of Gateway Funding Diversified Mortgage Company in Horsham Pennsylvania. She founded that company in 1994 with seven employees and $1.5 million in startup capital. Regina grew the company to more than 800 employees, and 58 offices with originations of $2 billion annually. Prior to founding Gateway, Lowrie worked in a variety of senior management positions in the mortgage banking industry, where she specialized in all aspects of residential production, operations, and regulatory compliance.

Ms. Lowrie served as chair of the Mortgage Bankers Association from 2005 to 2006. Lowrie is an MBA Legion member and served as chair of MBA's Residential/Single-Family Board of Governors (RESBOG), and has served as a member of the Board of Directors since 1996. She has also served as Vice Chair of RESBOG; Chair of MBA's Political Action Committee (MORPAC); and as a member of MBA's Strategic Planning Group, Audit Committee, State Legislative & Regulatory Committee, Board of Directors Technology Committee and Residential Loan Production Committee. She was the first woman to serve as President of the MBA of Greater Philadelphia.
